Tropical thatched rooftops, swaying palm trees, a 20-meter lap pool and a sunset terrace with ocean views just 1-minute away from the beach in a fisherman’s village near Candidasa – Casa Martina is a true paradise! Guests will enter the villa through a traditional entrance gate with a tiny ‘alang alang’ rooftop of its own.

The walled garden is surrounded by palm trees, tropical greenery and flowering plants in pots – it is beautiful! In the centre of the garden sparkles the private glistening swimming pool, a lap pool of 20 metres, great to get your morning exercise done. The pool is flanked by a stone sun-deck with 4 timber reclining chairs to do some sunbathing.

A thatch-roofed gazebo is built on top of the swimming pool, creating the perfect shady spot to sit and have drinks while keeping an eye on the kids playing in the swimming pool at the same time. The fan-cooled living room features an open-plan architectural design for you to experience the tropical island way of living, surrounded by plants and trees.

You can always choose to lower the bamboo shutters for a more closed-off living space to create a cosy ambience in the evening. The living room is furnished with antiques and traditional artwork and the design is all-natural, ruled by teak wood and rattan.

The sitting corner features 2 rattan armchairs, a teak wood bench and a free-form driftwood coffee table – a lovely spot to sit down for coffee in the morning! Meals are enjoyed at the long teak wood 8-seater dining table and on the other side of the room stands a stunning antique daybed where you can curl up with something to read or take a little daytime snooze without having to retreat to your bedroom.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a 2-pit stove, microwave, fridge and cooking utensils. For those seeking a traditional luxury home, villa Casa Martina is just perfect!

Villa Casa Martina features 3 air-conditioned bedroom suites, tucked in the double-storey pavilion adjoined to the living room. The master suite is a spacious, airy, light-filled bedroom with wonderful views of the tropical surroundings through the many windows all around.

The bedroom opens up to a large breezy terrace from where you can see the ocean. How wonderful The room is fitted with a romantic canopied queen-size double bed. The en-suite bathroom splits up into an indoor and party outdoor area for a tropical showering experience.

The 2 guest bedrooms are found on ground level, giving easy access to the garden and pool.

One of the rooms is furnished with a queen-size double bed and the other with twin beds. Together, these 2 rooms share one bathroom with a tropical outdoor shower.

The twin-bedded bedroom also features a flat-screen TV making it a bedroom and a TV room at the same time.
